Maximilian Lamm – Cinematographer & Colorist Munich, Germany

Hey, I'm Max

Cinematographer and Colorist based in Munich with a passion for visual storytelling.

What drives me? Finding the perfect connection between technology and creativity. As a cinematographer and DoP, I capture moments that touch and move people. As a colorist, I give them their final emotional depth through professional color grading. This unique combination allows me to guide projects from the first vision to the last color tone.

Whether commercial, brand film, social media spot, or music video: I support directors, productions and agencies in bringing their stories to life visually. I have shot for BMW, Audi, Generali and Sparda-Bank, and graded for brands like MINI, Porsche and Deutsche Bahn. I’m both a technical expert and creative problem solver. Challenges? Welcome! Unconventional solutions? My specialty!

I’m based in Munich, but my projects take me across Germany and beyond, from social media productions in Iceland to campaign shoots on the Baltic Sea. On set I’m responsible for the image from lighting to data handling; in post I work in DaVinci Resolve. Getting both from one source saves coordination and delivers a consistent look.

When I’m not behind the camera or working on color grading, I find creative inspiration baking sourdough bread – a process that has surprisingly many parallels to my film work: patience, precision, and the joy of the perfect result.

Got a project in mind? Or interested in working together? I'd love to hear from you.
