I am a colorist based in Munich, grading commercials, brand films, music videos and social media content. For me, color is not a filter applied at the end. It decides how a film feels, and that is where I start: with a look that carries the story.
I work in DaVinci Resolve and accompany projects from look development to final delivery. That includes the technical foundation: clean color correction, consistent skin tones and an image that works on every display. And it includes the creative part: finding a look together with the director and production that fits the brand and the story.
For MINI I graded the reveal video of the fully electric Aceman, matching the paint colors exactly to the brand specifications. For Deutsche Bahn, Porsche, Sparda-Bank and Dethleffs I finalized campaigns and brand films. Smaller projects like the spot for the children’s hospice Munich get the same standard: the grade has to serve the story. You can find an overview of all grading work in the colorist portfolio.
It starts with you delivering your edit. There is an edit conform guide describing the roundtrip from Premiere or Final Cut to DaVinci Resolve. I handle the technical setup and the first pass alone: syncing footage, establishing the base balance, preparing a first version of the look. We then meet for a shared session to align on the look together and, where needed, fine-tune individual shots. After that I either hand the project over for further work or finish it completely, whatever fits your project.
It depends on the scope: length of the film, number of versions and formats, effort for look development. After a short conversation about your project you get a transparent estimate with a day rate or a fixed price.

I regularly work with RAW footage from RED, ARRI, Sony and Blackmagic as well as log footage from common cameras. I also bring mixed footage from different sources to one consistent look.
