Pictures from Nadira – Sereno
For the Munich-based post-rock band Pictures from Nadira, I had the opportunity to create the music video for their single “Sereno”—a project that redefines the perception of time.
The song was inspired by the Italian poem “Sereno” by Giuseppe Ungaretti, which speaks of a moment of clarity and renewal.
This theme is reflected in the visual execution: The entire 8-minute music video unfolds in slow motion. It was filmed in just 20 seconds, made possible by a camera capturing 600 frames per second.
The biggest challenge lay in precise timing: The camera movements and the actress’s performance had to be perfectly synchronized to create the fluid, almost surreal look of the video. A technical feat that brings the essence of “Sereno” to life in a striking way.
