Pictures from Nadira – Sereno

Pictures from Nadira – Sereno For the Munich-based post-rock band Pictures from Nadira, I had the opportunity to create the music video for their single “Sereno”—a project that redefines the perception of time. The song was inspired by the Italian poem “Sereno” by Giuseppe Ungaretti, which speaks of a moment of clarity and renewal. This theme is reflected in the visual execution: The entire 8-minute music video unfolds in slow motion. It was filmed in just 20 seconds, made possible by a camera capturing 600 frames per second. The biggest challenge lay in precise timing: The camera movements and the actress’s performance had to be perfectly synchronized to create the fluid, almost surreal look of the video. A technical feat that brings the essence of “Sereno” to life in a striking way. https://youtu.be/1JaOsidXjU4 Director: Michael Baumberger DP, Edit, Grading: Maximilian LammSteadicam: Christoph Werner1st AC: Moritz Frank
John Garner – Picture of my Mind

John Garner – Picture of my Mind For the Augsburg folk band John Garner, I had the opportunity to create the music video for their new song “Picture of my Mind.” The unique challenge during the shoot was that throughout the entire film, two storylines run in parallel on a split screen. Consequently, all scenes had to be filmed more or less twice. I strongly recommend watching the video twice for a complete experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpfV5zk4PfA Cast: Yumina Otsuka, Ronja Zick, Sidney Haas, Daniel SöllRegie: Michael BaumbergerKamera & Grading: Maximilian Lamm1st AC: Sebastian MögeleEdit: Kim Enzo SteinocherRecording: ISSA MusikMixing: Maximilian WörleMastering: Dimi ConidasProduced by MONACOFRAME
