Pictures from Nadira – Sereno
For the Munich-based post-rock band Pictures from Nadira, I had the opportunity to create the music video for their single “Sereno” — a project that redefines the perception of time.
The song was inspired by the Italian poem “Sereno” by Giuseppe Ungaretti, which speaks of a moment of clarity and renewal.
This theme is reflected in the visual execution: The entire 8-minute music video unfolds in slow motion. It was filmed in just 20 seconds, made possible by a camera capturing 600 frames per second.
The biggest challenge lay in precise timing: The camera movements and the actress’s performance had to be perfectly synchronized to create the fluid, almost surreal look of the video. A technical feat that brings the essence of “Sereno” to life in a striking way.
